Cover Reveal

First stop is Fever by Lauren DeStefano, it was revealed today and I’m honestly not crazy about it:

Fever (The Chemical Garden, #2)

Not much info available yet but here’s the synopsis from goodreads:

The second book in the Chemical Garden Trilogy reveals a world outside the mansion as captivating and bleak as the one Rhine left behind--and sets the stage for an explosive conclusion!

To be released February 1st, 2012.

You can watch how the cover was made HERE on my facebook page
(sorry I couldn’t find the video on youtube to embed it here)

Last is Spell bound By Rachel Hawkins

Hailed as “impossible to put down,” the Hex Hall series has both critics and teens cheering. With a winning combination of romance, action, magic and humor, this third volume will leave readers enchanted.
Just as Sophie Mercer has come to accept her extraordinary magical powers as a demon, the Prodigium Council strips them away. Now Sophie is defenseless, alone, and at the mercy of her sworn enemies—the Brannicks, a family of warrior women who hunt down the Prodigium. Or at least that’s what Sophie thinks, until she makes a surprising discovery. The Brannicks know an epic war is coming, and they believe Sophie is the only one powerful enough to stop the world from ending. But without her magic, Sophie isn’t as confident. Sophie’s bound for one hell of a ride—can she get her powers back before it’s too late?

To be released March 2012

I really like this cover! All three in this series are amazing =)

  1. I'm not crazy about the Fever cover either. I think it looks too busy, and that green is horrible! I do love the Spell Bound cover though. It fits with the other covers in the series. :)

  2. I'm not sure what the series is about, but judging by the cover (which we're not supposed to do, right?) it's about a person with a heroin problem. Is that too harsh? That's what went through my mind though. :)

  3. I still love the cover of Wither more but I really like the one for Fever too!

  4. I'm not crazy about it either. It just doesn't seem to match.

  5. I love the lighting, I love the model, I love the makeup and I love the photography but what killed it is the color scheme. that lime green is too much. I suppose this one is brighter because Rhine is free, out in the real world whereas in witherm Rhine was held captive. It's not gorgeous but I think people are being too harsh by calling it ugly, ugly is so much worse.

  6. I love the cover of Spell Bound. I like the dress the model is wearing on the cover of Fever but the rest of the cover is just ugly. I imagine the various objects must be important to the story but really it just makes it cluttered. Like she is becoming a hoarder. I guess as long as the story on the inside is good...

    Thanks for posting these!

  7. I actually really like the new cover of Fever, colors and all! Wither was so pretty, and this one has the same qualities as Wither just in a different way. I think they just go together for some reason!

    Thanks for posting it!

@Mardel Now that you mention it... I kinda have to agree =P

@Midnight Bloom Glad you like 'em ^^ I didn't really care for either of them

@Parajunkee You don,t think the Spell Bound cover fits with the rest?

@Zara ugly is a strong word, but i honestly don't care for that cover. It really doesn't work for me.

@Christina, the jumble on Wither wasn't meaningful, so I wouldn't be suprise if this one didn't either.

    @Kelly Glad you like it!

@Moonlight Gleam LOL that's why i'm holding back on Demonglass I don't want to die from the wait.

@Mrs Q - If you discover the secret to having more time- please share with me *winks*

  11. I agree! I like the first book's cover better. This one doesn't have a similar feel - it just looks wrong! That sleeker dress isn't fitting!

  12. Thank goodness I'm not the only one who isn't in love with the Fever cover! I really don't like it. I loved Wither, but this one seems forced or something. And the dress looks like it from the 70's.

Spell Bound - LOVE IT! Funny tho because I really didn't like the cover on the first book, but when I read it I fell in love with the series. I'm curious because she has a Hex Hall uniform on. Hmmmmmmmmmm
