I don't think it matters where the book is set as long as it's a good story. But, this book sounds amazing. Thanks for the giveaway!!!

Congrats darling! I’m about to email you and you will have 72 hours to reply with your mailing addy Smile

Now onto the survey, you’ve probably seen a new means to enter the giveaways around the blogosphere called Rafflecopter. I signed up on the waitlist to be able to use it eventually and I’d like to you know what are your thoughts on it.

Here’s what it looks like.

raffle

I could put as many or as little extra entries as I want.

Would you be willing to use Rafflecopter to enter Tynga’s Reviews giveaway?

Would you be willing to use it? Do you find it easy to use? Thoughts on extra entries? Any critique?

Thanks for your output as I might use it for future giveaways!

  1. I think Rafflecopter is great. Its only minus is that you can't see it through Google Reader, you have to click through the blog and wait until it loads. Not a big deal if you are in US. But for an international reader it's irritating when terms and conditions are in rafflecopter and you waste all this time to load it and find out you can't enter. :)) if you have your terms and conditions of the giveaway outside rafflecopter it will be a huge huge plus, Tynga!

  3. I like the rafflecopter form. A lot of blogs are already using it and I have entered many contest with it. Most other blogs use the comment as the main entry then GFC follower, twitter follwer, facebook for blogger and author, twitter post and things like that for the extra entries. I think the rafflecopter form make entries easier because you don't miss out on an extra entry and it keeps it all together so you can see what you have done.

  5. i voted no only because i don't have a website and lot of the giveaways put things like put your button on my site. don't have one. then ask me to blog on my site and i don't have one, so the people that don't have website don't get the same amount of entries so they might as well not even enter. other than that i think they are good to have for you. should make it easier on you. thanks joannie

  6. I agree with kara-karina, please put the rules on the blog, outside of rafflecopter. But for the most, rafflecopter is easy, and you could also ask people if they are a follower, or to tweet about the contest. That last one is the reason I finally joined Twitter.

  7. I did plan to put the rules on the blog because when I enter giveaways on rofflecopter, and I'm done entering everything, and then see at the bottom that it was US only I'm pissed LOL

@Joannie - People do extra entries like that even without using rafflecopter so it doesn't have to be related.

  8. I don't like a lot of extras. It gives some people more of a chance of winning than others.

  9. I love rafflecopter. I've used it to host one and its so easy to find the cheater duplicate entries too. The only thing I don't like is that it makes it hard for me to enter giveaways when I'm out and about on my phone. Love it though!

  10. The rafflecoper do have it's pros and cons. Pros: it lets me know if I already entered the contest and Con: majority of the time the rafflecopter ends a day earlier than it is supposed to and that really sucks.

  11. I find rafflecopter kind of annoying, actually. I can't put my finger on why. I think they tend to load slow, there's always so many entrie, which I know happens in other systems, but people seem to get carried away with rafflecopter.
