Cover Love

Well it’s time to show you some more covers I discovered lately ^^

First is the cover of Frostbite, the graphic novel, based on Richelle Mead’s story. You might have seen it before but I hadn’t hehe

I’m sorry the quality is rather poor, I couldn’t find a better one. I really liked this scene in the novel so I’m happy to see it pictured here!

Release is scheduled for April 2012.

Up next is the third book in the Personal Demons series, Last Rite, by Lisa Desrochers.

Couldn’t find a product description but that one is due May 2012!

I’m totally in love with the next cover, Biting Cold, the sixth Chicagoland Vampires novel by Chloe Neill.

Turned into a vampire against her will, twenty-eight-year-old Merit found her way into the dark circle of Chicago’s vampire underground, where she learned there was more to supernaturals than met the eye—and more supernaturals than the public ever imagined. And not all the secrets she learned were for sharing—among humans or inhumans.
Now Merit is on the hunt, charging across the stark American Midwest, tailing a rogue supernatural intent on stealing an ancient artifact that could unleash catastrophic evil on the world. But Merit is also the prey. An enemy of Chicagoland is hunting her, and he’ll stop at nothing to get the book for himself. No mercy allowed. No rules apply. No lives spared. The race is on.

That one is scheduled for August 2012.

The cover of the twenty-second Dark Hunter novel, Time Untime was also recently release. I really like this series by Sherillyn Kenyon even thought I’d not up-to-date.

The Mayans aren’t the only ones with a 2012 prophecy…
Long before recorded history, there was a warrior so feared that everyone trembled before his wrath. Only a brutal betrayal by the one closest to him could defeat him. But not even death was the end of a man so strong.
The Time Untime approaches…

Kateri Avani has been plagued her entire life with dreams she doesn’t understand. Images of places she’s never been and of a man she’s never seen. Her quest for answers has driven her to Las Vegas where she hopes to finally silence the demons in her mind.
What she never anticipates is coming face to face with the warrior who has haunted her her entire life.
Ren Waya came back from the dead to keep the prophecy he began from coming true and ending the world. For thousands of years, he has fought the same evil that once possessed him. But now that evil has brought back the one person he can’t fight. The one person who once held the most sacred part of him.
His heart.
But if he doesn’t kill Kateri, the deadliest of evils will reemerge and destroy everyone else on the planet. It was a sacrifice he made once.
Will he be able to make it again?

Release date: August 2nd 2012.

Partials

The next book, Partials by Dan Wells is a book I’m anxious to read! I discovered a love of dystopian books in the past month and I’m looking forward to that one!

The human race is all but extinct after a war with Partials—engineered organic beings identical to humans—has decimated the population. Reduced to tens of thousands by RM, a weaponized virus to which only a fraction of humanity is immune, the survivors in North America have huddled together on Long Island while the Partials have mysteriously retreated. The threat of the Partials is still imminent, but worse, no baby has been born immune to RM in more than a decade. Our time is running out.
Kira, a sixteen-year-old medic in training, is on the front lines of this battle, seeing RM ravage the community while mandatory pregnancy laws threaten to launch what’s left of humanity into civil war, and she’s not content to stand by and watch. But as she makes a desperate decision to save the last of her race, she will discover that the survival of humans and Partials alike rests in her attempts to uncover the connections between them—connections that humanity has forgotten, or perhaps never even knew were there.
Dan Wells, acclaimed author of I Am Not a Serial Killer, takes readers on a pulse-pounding journey into a world where the very concept of what it means to be human is in question—one where our humanity is both our greatest liability and our only hope for survival.

To be expected February 28t, 2012!

I like the cover of the first book in that series better, but I love a lot of element about that one. I think the girl’s face is the only thing I don’t like actually o.0 Still, I’m looking forward to Summoning the Night by Jenn Bennett, the second book in the Arcadia Bell series.

Magick. Murder. Mayhem. It’s all in a night’s work…

After narrowly escaping her fate as a sacrificial scapegoat, Arcadia Bell is back to normal. Or at least as ordinary as life can be for a renegade magician and owner of a tiki bar that caters to Earthbound demons. She’s gearing up for the busiest day of the year—Halloween—when a vengeful kidnapper paralyzes the community. The influential head of the local Hellfire Club taps Cady to track down the fiendish bogeyman, and now that she’s dating red-hot Lon Butler, the club’s wayward son, she can hardly say no.

Cady and Lon untangle a gruesome thirty-year trail of clues that points to danger for the club members’ children. But locating the person behind the terror will require some metaphysical help from Cady’s loyal bar patrons as well as her potent new Moonchild powers—and she’d better figure it out before the final victim disappears and her own darkest secret becomes her biggest enemy

Due April 2012.

Last, Rachel Vincent posted an animated version of the UK cover of My Soul to Steal, and I think it’s pretty neat!

Which cover do you like best?

I think I’d have to go with Biting Cold ^^ Just love the feel of it!
