Eve wanted to participate in the Fantastic Fables event, but unfortunately her schedule didn’t allow her to do so. She wished to offer a Signed copy of Body of Sin though! It’s the fourth installment in the Otherkin series, to be release on August 23rd, 2011.
The ultimate fall from Grace…
Once the favorite son of the Lord of the Underworld, Lokan Krayl held enviable privileges and powers. Powers that led to a devastating betrayal—murder.
Resurrected by his immortal brothers, Lokan is still trapped in purgatory. He has no way to contact his family. He has no answers. In order to find the truth about his death, and who killed him, he must escape his prison. And there's only one way out: through the twelve gates of his eternal enemy, Osiris.
But Lokan has help. Bryn Carr, the woman who duped him once before, is his beautiful yet unwanted guide. She's been sent by his brothers to aid him. She's his last hope. Lokan must place his fate—and that of the mortal and immortal worlds—in the hands of the one woman he can never trust

I really do like Egyptian mythology. I always loved the Mummy movies, because they always talked about fascinating Egyptian history. And some of the stuff was sooooo scary, like scarab beetles, and being mummified while still alive, totally creepy.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds awesome. I'd love to win:).

Definitely a fan of Egyptian mythology! I've always been a fan of Osiris and Isis' story--beautiful and tragic, like most good myths. I hope to go to Egypt someday and follow the footsteps of these stories!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity!
Smiles!

I'm a fan of all mythology. Greek & Roman have been my favorites growing up, but I've branched into reading Norse and Egyptian mythology as well. All these mythologies bring beautiful depth to the cultures.
ReplyDeleteAnother great giveaway-thank you.

What's not to like about Egyptian Mythology?: Cleopatra, great winged birds (?Thunderbirds as suggested by Thea Harrison's series?), the stuff that makes Stargate such a fantastic series?! Mythology makes such great paranormal romantic fiction :-)
ReplyDeleteglittergirl54{at]ymail[dot]com
To be honest, I don't know that much about Egyptian mythology, but since I like myths in general, I'm sure I would like it.

ReplyDeleteI've been an egyptophile since I was a little kid, but it's been more about the mummies and pyramids than mythology.

I do like what I know about it, which isnt nearly as much as I have studied Greek mythology. But Greek just seems more common to study. I know the time of Cleopatra had some interesting myths going around.
