Stacking the Shelves [42]

STSmall_thumb[2]

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Guidelines:

  • Create your own Stacking The Shelves post. You can use my official graphic or your own, but please link back to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!

  • You can set your post any way you want, simple book list, covers, pictures, vlog, sky is the limit!

  • I am posting Stacking The Shelves on Saturdays, but feel free to post yours any day that fits you.

  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on Saturday and add your link so others can visit you!

  • Visit other participants link to find out what they added to their shelves!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

** My apologies if you saw this post earlier today. An incomplete version went up. **

My first StS post of 2013! It's been a while since I've written one of these so I have a lot of loot. ^^

Yeah, that was a total humblebrag.

I got some lovely books in the past month or so, mostly a nice selection of review copies, so I feel quite fortunate. It's the perfect time for lots of reading because it's been really yucky here in Newfoundland, so all I want to do is hunker down with a good book. I'm particularly excited to share the stuff I won from Literary Escapism since I got it as a prize for helping to rename Casey's Literary Rants, a feature they used to have. (It's now known as Escapist Uncensored since many of the site's contributors write them and it's one of my favourite features on te site.)

Before I show you what I've been lucky enough to receive, I wanted to wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year (for tomorrow). It's an important day for me and mine so welcome to the Year of the Snake!

So, what did YOU add to your shelves this week?

Born and raised in the Toronto area, Jenn moved to St. John's, Newfoundland, eight years ago for school. She's still in school (thankfully on another degree!), now trapped in her dissertation. When she's not dissertating, which happens more often than it should, Jenn spends her time reading, watching movies, playing volleyball, travelling, and enjoying the local music scene. Her latest addictions: yoga and Almond Crunch cereal.

  17. Hi, Jenn!

What a SUPER nice haul!! Oh, you must be ECSTATIC, especially after winning so many great books from Literary Escapism!! The titles you bought are wonderful, as well! Of course, it's always wonderful to get fascinating books for review, and the ones you have here are certainly intriguing. I can tell you that I already covet "The Darkest Minds", "No Such Thing as Immortality", and "A Vampire for Christmas",

I'm going to investigate all of these books further, but the covers sure promise some great stories!!

Thanks for sharing your awesome collection, and Happy Reading!! :)
