1.My hair has been brown, orange, red, blonde, auburn, black, and purple. Only the purple was an accident and I lived with it for three days, wondering if I should just go with it before I had it fixed.

2. I pronounce the word thing like theen, and I don't do it on purpose.

3. I believe in silver linings, even when all evidence points against it.

4. I got a perfect score singing Bon Jovi's WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE on Rock Band—
twice!

5. If I could go back in time I would travel to Renaissance Florence—but only if I could bring my modern day grooming habits with me!

6. When researching THE IMMORTALS books I went under hypnosis several times for past life regressions and was not at all surprised to find that I was neither Cleopatra nor Marie Antoinette. After all, someone had to be a maid!

7. If I could choose any other fantasy job—I would want to be a really gifted painter. But since that’ll never happen (in this life anyway!) I mention art in every single one of my books, though I’m sure no one notices.

8. I once traveled to Mykonos, Greece for vacation and stayed 7 years!

9. My favorite color is purple, but turquoise is a definite first runner up.

10. My two favorite sounds are laughter and champagne corks popping!
