The long awaited Lily-Ann is now here + Stacking the Shelves update!

Hello Everyone!

I haven’t been around for the last couple of days because Lily-Ann was born Friday night at 8:20 east! After 13 hours of labor, my little angel was born :)

She has dark chestnut hair, but I’m suspecting they might lighten with time because even though she has a lot of hair, she has barely any eyebrow to speak of hehe. Her eyes are obviously blue, but there’s a green/grey tint to them, I can’t wait to see how they turn out in a couple of months! She is 20inches tall and a mere 6 pounds, so not much baby fat to speak of lol.

The time at the hospital was actually really hard. Harder than I expected. I only got about 3 hours of sleep over a 3 days spawn so I’m utterly exhausted, though extremely happy. My online presence will be sparse unfortunately, but I’m sure you’ll all understand =)

Regarding the response to the new Stacking the Shelves feature, I’m super excited by your entousiasm! I wasn’t expecting so much love!

I can’t visit everyone’s post this week, obviously, but Stéphanie and Jenn are visiting you, giving some love back, and I want you know to know that I read every comment :)

I will set a Mr.Linky for the coming post and I can’t wait to visit you all!

I will write an actual launching post for Saturday with guidelines (not rules) and appropriate credits. I might even show you a glimpse of my precious little doll!

    Congrats sweetie! She is absolutely gorgeous! And I'm not just saying that. She is so beautiful. I think the body forgets the first months on purpose, so you'll have more kids. Gah. The Hospital was the worse for me and I remember just when I was getting to sleep finally this chick busted in at like 4am asking about baby pictures and if I wanted to order them, like it was nothing. *sigh* Had to get "my story in" but you get some rest. Thank you for posting these, we were all dying.

      I barely slept 3-4 hours in the 3 days at the hospital. It was really hard, but it's getting better now that I'm at home :)

      I wil use the program I used for Daring You to Read, but thanks for the offer!

    Lily-Ann is so beautiful!!! Congratulations Mommy! I hope you're getting into a good routine. My youngest is 19 and I still don't get enough sleep but it does get easier and you get used to it. Obviously it's all worth it but don't be afraid to take help whenever you need it. You need to take care of yourself too! Happy Mommy, happy family! :)
