If you don’t know yet, The Golden Lily is the tiles of the second book in the Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead, and even though the first book isn’t out yet, the cover of the second one has just been revealed.
Jill is on the left, and Sydney on the right.
Overall I like this cover better than Bloodline’s, but Sydney’s face kind of bothers me for some reason. Maybe it’s her expression or maybe it would’ve been better if only half her face (right down to her chin) was shown. I don’t know.
The description isn’t available yet, and the release is set for may 2012.
Can you release Bloodlines already? I am dying to read it!
Love the cover! I can't wait to get my hands on the Bloodlines series. I fell hard in love with The Vampire Academy series so I am hoping Bloodlines meets all the expectations I am sure people are giving it!

Psst... you are probably already aware but the casting call for Vampire Academy begins July 11! Go to FACEBOOK The Official Vampire Academy Movie!
ReplyDeleteSome fans are talking about Ben Barnes as Dimitri... X NAY! He's too young! Dimitri is a hunk of a man - way too young... what do you think??
@Aisle yes I'm aware, but it's not official casting, it's a pull to "take the pucblic's pulse", it doesn't mean that the winner will be cast.
ReplyDeleteI'm agree that right now Ben Barnes doesn fit the bill physically, but if he hits the gym ad gain some weight and muscle he might be ok. He was born in 1981, so he's 30. He's not too young, he's older than DImitri, he isn't very tall though. Barely 6feet but that can be fixed if they choose a tiny little Rose =)
I'm not pro Ben Barnes, but I wouldn't mind him if they work on his physique.
THe cover is GORGEOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteI've read Bloodlines. Got an ARC of it over at BEA. Loaned it to my friend who wanted to read it. Posted my review of it over at Livre De Amour-Books of Love.
ReplyDeleteThe girl on the left looks like she's irritated to be on the cover of this book. Maybe she's irritated because half of her face has been cut off. I do like the golden effect, although I think Richelle Mead's name should have been a bit softer and less blocky. I get the idea that it's supposed to contrast with the title, but it looks harsh.
