Hey, I'm Tynga! Montreal-based mom of two and lifelong book lover. I started this blog in 2009 reviewing PNR and UF, and over the years my shelves expanded into Romantasy, Dark Romance, and Dark Rom-Com. This blog is the archive. These days, my bookish life lives mostly on TikTok. I also create reading journals through Tynga Publishing — designed by a reader, for readers.

    One of my cats loves to walk and lie on the keyboard. Once he downloaded malware onto my computer by doing so. It was a bit less cute that day. XD I've just moved to the states and my cats aren't arriving until the end of the month, so I miss the computer distractions. I should probably use this time to get a lot of blogging done but sadly I also lag, only without the fluffy distractions.

    My cat Stanley does the same thing! He doesn't leave until we give him treats which he must eat on the desk!

    Cats seem to have this thing about laying on whatever keeps your attention from them. Newspapers, books, keyboards, babies....lol

    So cute! :) My kitties try to climb on my lap, but they usually refrain from jumping in front of the monitor.

    I love that you shared your kitty with us! I just wanna cuddle with him/her.

    I totally empathize, haha. My one cat likes to crawl half on my lap, half on my keyboard drawer, making it almost impossible for me to type.

    Ha ha. That's cute. We don't have cats anymore thankfully, but we do have a 2 year old running around which can be just as bad. Although she's not allowed in her auntie's room!

    Too cute!

    I have the same problem when I'm trying to read! She crawls right in front of my book and either just sits there or lays there all up in my way!

    She's been doing it to my laptop too, since I've started putting it directly in my lap while sitting on the couch. :) I love her to death though.
