Stacking the Shelves [390]

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Welcome to the pre-Holiday edition of Stacking the Shelves. I look outside here in Atlanta and completely lose track of the fact that it is the holiday season, but it definitely is.

So Happy Holidays for whatever holidays you celebrate this time of year. In honor of Hanukkah and Xmas coinciding this year I think we're having latkes with our traditional turkey boob instead of mashed potatoes. (There's only two of us - and the cats who we try not to encourage to beg for table scraps - so a turkey breast is more than enough for the two of us and leaves plenty of leftovers for Boxing Day sandwiches!)

Just in case you're looking for something to read over the holidays, here are a few teasers from my stack over at Reading Reality:

Marlene is the perpetrator of the book blog Reading Reality, as well as a librarian and freelance writer currently living in Atlanta (after stops in Chicago, Seattle, Florida and Anchorage, not necessarily in that order. Her house full of books also contains her husband, also in the library biz, and two cats who really run the place.

  4. OOh nice new reads! All new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

Hope you enjoy your holidays as well! I feel like every few years Christmas and Hanukkah get timed out to be around the same time. Never figure out how that works...or really how any "moving" holiday works in its placement in the calendar year!

Hope you enjoy your holidays and the new reads!
