ReplyDeleteOooo, I didn't like All the Birds in the Sky either and I felt TERRIBLE about it! I had a lovely time chatting with Charlie Jane at a dinner a few years ago when her ARC for that novel was out, but I just...couldn't connect with the characters who were supposed to be young adults because of their names. It jarred me out of the story every time. :/
