Happy Saturday everyone! I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer so far, no matter where you're from. Here in Northern Ontario, it feels like fall is right around the corner with all the rain and cool whether we've been getting (I wish I could send it all to the west coast). But the weird thing about summer here is that one day it can be a sweatshirt day, then the next it will be a bathing suit day.

I have a wide variety of books to share with you this week and honestly I don' t know where I'll find the time to read them all!

  5. I love Shelly Laurenston. Good choice! Such great humor.

I picked up the Would-Be Witch by Kimberly Frost a few months ago, but never got around to reading it. I look forward to your review!

And I also picked up The Martian, both in digital and in audio. It's my first audio, so I'm excited to see how that goes.

    Nice haul! Happy Reading!

  14. I need to read The Martian before the movie comes out, it sounds like a real survival story to me. And that cozy mystery is right up my alley, I like a good foodie story. Hope you're having a great weekend!

  17. I bought The Martian earlier this summer, but as I'm a huge Matt Damon fan, I kinda wish I'd waited for this version! :-) Have a great week!

  18. I think you'll enjoy reading The Martian. I thought it was wonderful and I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie.

I do the same thing as you -- picking up a bunch of books all at the same time. Grabbing a couple at the library and then suddenly seeing some that I just cannot live without at the bookstore. Enjoy your new books.
