This week, I decided to dare you to read Firelight by Kristen Callihan because I just added the third book, Winterblaze, to my kindle (from netGalley) so I thought you should all catch up on this must read series!

Firelight is a breathtaking gothic twist of The Beauty and The Beast’s story. There are many retell out there, but this one is subtle and I truly enjoyed it! Callihan’s writing is simply fabulous, infusing credibility to this historic setup. Written in old English style and respecting the old traditions and morals, Firelight shines by its authenticity and I loved every second of my reading experience.

If you love to historical romance with a paranormal twist, Firelight is the perfect novel for you! For more fawning, you can read my review ^^

  2. I've read this book, and really disliked it. Totally can't understand why everyone is raving about it. Only the ending itself was good, but the main couple I really disliked.
