Follow Friday!

I’ve said before I wouldn’t join the train in these follow Friday features, but I’m in the mood this morning, so WTH I’ll give it a try ^^ Plus it’s hosted by my friend Rachel!

I’ll post the rules since it's the first time I participate:

This week’s question is:

What is your favorite romance hero-type? Stereotype wise. Do you like the strong silent type or the brute macho man?

I have to go with brute, macho, and mysterious! I love mystery in my characters. If they have dark and painful past it’s even better! Alpha is the way to go!

Immortals After Dark & Black Dagger Brotherhood are probably the best example for my favorite male characters.

If we branch to with YA, I’d have to talk about Dimitri from Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy.

    Not sure if I like the brute type of guy (for myself). But some times for me to like the guy in the book it really depends on how he's written. While I might like the alpha male in one book, in another I don't like him as much. Overall I guess I like the strong silent type, but not so silent.

    To go a step further, I don't like mean bad guys like (Patch in hush, hush), I like the ones that seem big and tough (ride motorcycles) and underneath it all - they are big sweet bears. Mr. Whimsy is one of those.
