Stacking the Shelves [406]

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is ready to turn 2020 in for a full refund? This has been the weirdest year - and it's only April!

While I'm starting to see book publication dates moved back in the hopes that maybe by fall things will be back to normal - whatever that turns out to be - I still managed to snag plenty of new books for the virtually towering TBR pile.

The full stack is over at Reading Reality, but have a gander at a few of the prettiest or most interesting covers:

As always, I have a few teasers for you from my honestly huge stack over at Reading Reality. But I also have a bit more than the usual inducement to get you to take a look!

Today is the 9th anniversary of my very first post at Reading Reality, back when it was Escape Reality, Read Fiction! Tomorrow is my own birthday. I've been giving stuff away all week long, and today is no exception. So hop over to Reading Reality for a chance at a $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card. And be sure to look at the rest of this week's posts to see if any of the other giveaways tickle your fancy.

And thanks so much for letting me be a part of your Saturday, this Saturday and every Saturday!

Has anyone else lost track of what day of the week it is? Even in this time of weirdness and madness, it's still Saturday and still the day for Stacking the Shelves. It may not be as easy as normal to get books to stack on your shelves right now, but local bookstores are mailing books and arranging for curbside pickup, while ebooks require no effort at all.

Where there's a will there's still a way!

Speaking of will, LOTS of ebooks made their way to Casa Reading Reality this week, as evidenced by my ginormous full stack this morning. So here are your regularly scheduled teaser covers!

This week's full stack at Reading Reality, just like last week's, is absolutely ginormous. So far, the one next week is a bit less large - at least so far. We'll see.

I'll have plenty of teasers for you in a minute, but before I get to that I just wanted to wish each and every one of you a safe and healthy weekend and week to come, hopefully one with less drama and lots of good books.

I have another ginormous stack over at Reading Reality this week. I'll certainly have plenty to read during the COVID-19 "social distancing" situation. We stocked up some but tried not to go crazy. I just hope we got enough cat food. I like my toesies attached to my footsies!

But seriously, wherever you are, I hope that you are safe and healthy and taking good care of yourself and your loved ones.

This week's stack over at Reading Reality is huge. TALL. Positively ginormous! It just about rained books over here.

So many of them are soooo pretty, I want to share them all. But it's way too much. Here's a tiny, short, minuscule sample.
