It was BEA this week, I bet you all got tons of pretties to show everyone! Unfortunately, I'm not part of those lucky person who can attend, so my haul is much much smaller and swoon worthy LOL None the less, I am extremely happy with my lot :)
First is my typical books and both were for review:
The Talon of the Hawk by Jeffe Kennedy (which I loved)
Pirate's Alley by Suzanne Johnson
Now, I am taking photography classes and I am hoping to make a small carrier in the domain. It has become a really passion for me so I bought some books on the Mother's sale of Bookoutlts!
Bellies & Babies
Focus on Photography
Baby Photography Now!
Creative Lightning
And in case you are wondering about my skills, here's my latest impromptu shot with my daughters
And some shot I took in Montreal's old port:
I hope you guys had a great week and I can't when to see the pretties you added to your shelves!
Your daughters are adorable, Cindy!!
ReplyDeleteYour new books look good, and I hope the photography books will be helpful, and the review books fun to read :)
Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.
I've read the first book in Suzanne Johnson's series, and really enjoyed it - I need to read the others sometime. Enjoy Pirate's Alley! Your girls are so cute, I hope you're having fun taking photos.

ReplyDeleteI love looking at your photography, and those baby photo books are charming. I have a question.." I am hoping to make a small carrier in the domain" What does that mean? Should I know that phrase?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I think while books help you also have to have an eye on what you want and you have that eye.
ReplyDeleteoh my ...your little girls are so adorable!! Its always good to learn about photography...that is next on my bucket list. I plan on traveling to europe in a few years...and I want to master it a bit before I go. Something more than my iphone camera.

ReplyDeleteI totally abandoned photography once I entered University but boy do I miss it! Lovely photos and best of luck with it!
ReplyDeleteI'm another one of those who will probably never get to attend BEA, but that's OK. I'll never run out of reading material.
ReplyDeleteI think I would enjoy taking a photography course. I love to point the camera and "click", but I simply drool over well-done shots.
Looks like some fun photography books this week!
