Beautiful Covers!

I have some beautiful covers to show you, some you might have seen already and one you probably haven’t yet, since it was release like 45 mins ago? lol So I’ll start with that one!

Awakened by P.C. & Kristin Cast (Jan 2011)

Awakened-Oct19 At the start of Awakened, the pulse-pounding eighth installment of the bestselling House of Night series, Zoey has returned, mostly whole, from the Otherworld to her rightful place as High Priestess at the House of Night. Stevie Rae is drawn even closer to Rephaim, the Raven Mocker with whom she shares a mysterious and powerful Imprint, but he is a dangerous secret that isolates her from her school, her red fledglings, and even her best friends. When the dark threat of Neferet - who is coming closer and closer to achieving her twisted goal of immortality - and Kalona returns, what will it take to keep the House of Night from being lost forever, and what will one desperate girl do to keep her heart from being irreparably broken?

Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins (March 2011)

demonglass

Sophie Mercer thought she was a witch.
That was the whole reason she was sent to Hex Hall, a reform school for delinquent Prodigium (aka witches, shapeshifters, and fairies). But that was before she discovered the family secret, and that her hot crush, Archer Cross, is an agent for The Eye, a group bent on wiping Prodigium off the face of the earth.
Turns out, Sophie’s a demon, one of only two in the world—the other being her father. What’s worse, she has powers that threaten the lives of everyone she loves. Which is precisely why Sophie decides she must go to London for the Removal, a dangerous procedure that will destroy her powers.
But once Sophie arrives she makes a shocking discovery. Her new friends? They’re demons too. Meaning someone is raising them in secret with creepy plans to use their powers, and probably not for good. Meanwhile, The Eye is set on hunting Sophie down, and they’re using Archer to do it. But it’s not like she has feelings for him anymore. Does she?

The Demon Trapper’s Daughter by Jana Oliver (Feb 2011)

Riley has always wanted to be a Demon Trapper like her father, and she's already following in his footsteps as one of the best. But it's tough being the only girl in an all-guy world, especially when three of those guys start making her life more complicated: Simon, the angelic apprentice who has heaven on his side; Beck, the tough trapper who thinks he's God's gift, and Ori, the strikingly sexy stranger who keeps turning up to save her ass. One thing's for sure - if she doesn't keep her wits about her there'll be hell to pay...

Unfortunately there isn’t a product description available for that one just yet. I haven’t read the first book, but heard so many great comments, I need to get my hands on it!

  1. *sigh* Why is it books I know I'll hate can have great covers when ones I know I'll love have bad ones? I love that cover for the next HON book, but I can't stand the series. The UK cover for the final Vampire Academy book, a series I adore? Terrible. Not cool.

I love the cover for The Demon Trapper's Daughter too! I hadn't see that one before but it sounds good! Going to add it to the TBR list...

  3. Ahh! I love the Awakened cover! I have all the books up to Hunted. I haven't gotten Tempted yet because it's still in hardcover - the last time I checked, and all my books are in paperback so I don't want to mix them, lol! But I absolutely love it! Gorgeous! And the cover for Stolen Nights is super gorgeous! I haven't read the first one yet! And Demon Glass looks awesome, haven't read Hex Hall yet either! And The Demon Trapper's Daughter looks interesting too! It is definitely going on my ever growing TBR pile, hah! Thanks for sharing :)
