3..2..1… here we go!
The first one isn’t official yet, found it at Midnight Bloom Reads, and she saw it on GoodReads.com, so nothing official, but I LOVE it, so I hope it’s the real cover!
Something Deadly This Way Comes by Kim Harrison
Release date: April 8th, 2011
Inara Scott also revealed the TENTATIVE Cover of The Watchers (sequel to The Candidates). It’s not final, it will still change, but I think it's gorgeous! Prettier than the first one.
Release date: August 2nd, 2011
Up next is the cover of Lover Unleashed, 9th book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward. LOVE this series, only read the first to book so far because I’m trying to make the pleasure last lol
Release Date: March 29th, 2011
Next book is Grave Dance by Kalayna Price, I just got my hands on the first book, Grave Witch and love those covers!
Release date: July 5th, 2011
Last one for this week is Hunt the Moon, the 5th book in the Cassandra Palmer series by Karen Chance. I already own all the previous books in the series, but I haven’t read them yet and this cover makes me want to start reading the series ASAP!
Within the brotherhood, Rhage is the vampire with the strongest appetites. He’s the best fighter, the quickest to act on his impulses, and the most voracious lover—for inside him burns a ferocious curse cast by the Scribe Virgin. Possessed by this dark side, Rhage fears the times when his inner dragon is unleashed, making him a danger to everyone around him.
Mary Luce, a survivor of many hardships, is unwittingly thrown into the vampire world and reliant on Rhage’s protection. With a life-threatening curse of her own, Mary is not looking for love. Her faith in miracles was lost years ago. But when Rhage’s intense animal attraction turns into something more emotional, he knows that he must make Mary his alone. And while their enemies close in, Mary fights desperately to gain life eternal with the one she loves…
Lover Eternal is the second book is the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, and I think I liked it even better than the first one. This second installment features Rhage, one of the brother who is cursed and as to rely on sex and fights to keep The Beast (yes literally) from coming out and Mary a human girl who’s got cancer. I can see the gears in your head, you’re thinking with an introduction like that it must be cheesy, well it’s not! There are multiple plot lines going on, but I’ll try to resume as best as I can without spoiling anything. Mary is a simple girl, volunteering in a suicide phone line and that’s how she meets John, a young mute vampire who doesn’t know what he is. She also happens to befriend Bella, who’s also a vampire and recognizes John right away. That’s how Mary finds herself mixed up with the Brotherhood in the first place, and how Rhage got nuts for her. There’s something about her that speaks to Rhage’s soul but his perusing her puts her in danger from Lessers: the spark that will start their rollercoaster ride relationship.
I just really loved the interaction between the main characters. Mary might be sick, but she has a warrior spirit and her mind is set to fight, plus she’s not impressed by the six and a half feet tall piece of a man Rhage is. She confronts him, and the beast, heads up. Rhage is not only incredibly sultry, he is also multi-layered and the perception you have of him after the first book is completely crushed in Lover Eternal. Their relationship goes through many phases and I’ll admit it, I shed a few tears near the end!
One of the other characters to grab my intention was Zsadist, he is dark, dangerous, out of control and has his twin puts it, he is ruined. His interactions with Bella though leads me to believe there is much more to discover about this broken man, and I can’t wait to learn more about him.
The conclusion of this book took very surprising twist promising some very interesting plot lines for the next book in the series.
If you haven’t discovered The Black Dagger Brotherhood series yet, and you love Paranormal Romance, then you must get your hands on that series. It’s dark, sexy, sultry yet not overloaded with sex. Just the right amount of action, passion and carnal pleasure to get you addicted and craving for more!
I’m anxious awaiting the release of City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare and Mundie Moms were having a cover contest, so I jumped in the crazy wagon and created my own!
I am very happy to have debut author Anastasia Hopcus by my side today! Her first book, Shadow Hills, released this summer by Egmont and was a huge success! I have to confess, I am terribly jealous of her beautiful read hair *blush* Without further introduction, here’s what Anastasia likes to do in her free time!
Here's a look at my shelves of DVD's. As you can probably tell, I love movies and television series. Starting when I was still in elementary school, every Friday night my friends and I would go to Blockbuster and rent horror movies to liven up our weekends. My family also had tons of VHS tapes. I haven't been able to replace all of them on DVD yet, but I've done my best. Last Christmas I got my favorite John Hughes movies on DVD. And, of course, I can't resist adding new films like Adventureland and Kick Ass.
But perhaps even more than movies, I enjoy DVD's of television series. It's like watching a 22 hour movie! I love the multiple characters and story lines, the long plot arcs that spread out over a whole season. (That will doubtless come as no surprise to you who have read Shadow Hills; I envisioned my story from the beginning as a series of books.) I can watch my favorite TV shows over and over again; I know large sections of Friends and Buffy the Vampire Slayer by heart. It's 'comfort food' viewing.
Hope you enjoyed this little peek into one of the ways I spend my leisure time!

Thanks you very much for share with us Anastasia! We have quite a few DVDs in common ^^
Here’s a little bit about her book!
Since her sister’s mysterious death, Persephone “Phe” Archer has been plagued by a series of disturbing dreams. Determined to find out what happened to her sister, Phe enrolls at Devenish Prep in Shadow Hills, Massachusetts—the subject of her sister’s final diary entry.
After stepping on campus, Phe immediately realizes that there’s something different about this place—an unexplained epidemic that decimated the town in the 1700s, an ancient and creepy cemetery, and gorgeous boy Zach—and somehow she’s connected to it all.
But the more questions she asks and the deeper she digs, the more entangled Phe becomes in the haunting past of Shadow Hills. Finding what links her to this town…might cost her her life.
Miss Hopcus was very generous and is also offering a Shadow Hills Poster to one lucky reader!

I told you yesterday I was heading to the Bell Center today to meet the Montreal Canadiens. I had a great time, but I’ll say the organization sucked. We had to pay for every activities (25$ for photos, 25$ for autographs, 10$ for video games, 5$ to visit the dressing room) and what I didn’t like is that they didn’t check for bracelet (they gave you bracelet when you paid) so some people got pictures without paying and what not. Resulting in 2 hours wasted in line without being able to see my favorite player =( My second favorite wasn’t there because he’s got flu.
Anyhow, I think it’s a real nice concept, just needs some improvements =)
Here are some of the pictures I took!
Here’s the dressing room…
They have the standings hand written in the dressing room, I thought it was cool!
Here’s a shot of the door out of the dressing room leading to the ice.
And now a couple of shots with the players.
I look like I have an extra 30 pounds on the left shot but oh well!
Mike Cammalleri is on the right, my favorite player. I could only get a shot from far away.
The boys playing Wii with kids
Fishaud a rookie goalie you could shoot against
And last a pictures of my friend and I in the Penalty box!
That’s right the title says it all, I didn’t receive a single package this week in the mail *sad panda*
Thought I did go crazy shopping today, but tons of hair products, creams, make-up and what not. I ended up with quite a nice haul lol Also got myself a pair of shoe, long due if I may say lol I hate shoe shopping!
Tomorrow I’m ending to the Bell Center to meet the Montreal Canadiens players. For those of you who don’t know I’m a crazy hockey fan, so I’m really excited right now! Hopefully I’ll have a bunch of nice shots I can share with you!
