  1. Oh, dear! I hope your sick leave helps with the problems. :( That's scary! I will send you positive thoughts and prayers.

Meanwhile, you TOTALLY gave me an idea on how I can switch my early Kim Harrison books to HC since they switched the format mid-series. I never thought to check out Bookcloseouts! I wish I had paid more attention to those Boxing day sales now. Argh!

  3. Aw I hope your pregnancy goes a little smoother with the rest from work.

I'm glad you were able to get so many books from a closeout sale. Lol don't tell me about any more deals though because I have way too many books to read as it is. :)

    Happy reading!

  11. Hey Tynga! So sorry to hear you have heart problems but I really hope the rest will make it right! Get a lot of rest and try not to stress (know it's easier said than done..)

Also regarding the book you got for review, I completely get you, when I saw its cover I went eww.. in the worst possible way but a friend of mine read and reviewed it and she said the book is awesome, and she is so glad the horrible cover didn't put her off it (you can find her review here: http://www.bookloversinc.com/2011/12/21/arc-review-immortal-hope-by-claire-ashgrove/) and since then I keep seeing more and more people praising the novel how well written it is, and sad but I am surprised seeing its tacky cover. So maybe you should give it a try at least until page 50 or so ;-)

Good luck and crossing my fingers for you, get better soon!! *hugs*

  14. I'm adding you to my prayers right now.
It's really tough when your afraid but try to keep calm and rest. I was on bed rest for part of my first pregnancy and it can be frustrating. But think of all the reading you can get done.

    Big Hugs!
