  21. What a happy baby :). She is so cute.
When I had my first I was 26 and had very long hair. I cut mine to chin length when he was 6 months old. The longest I've grown it since is 3 inches down my back. People told me cutting it would make things easier - don't believe them. Long hair can air dry and be pulled back in a moments notice. Shorter hair has to be styled. I'd stick to the longer hair while still in your 20's :).

    ReplyDelete

    1. Mine is actually too long and annoying, I always pull my hair because its stuck betwen my back and my chair and have to pull em out etc. I'll make sure I can still tie them!

      Delete
  22. I am so jealous of Prodigy by Marie Lu! I requested an ARC, but I wonder if I'll actually get it, being right after BEA and all. But I'm crossing my fingers! You got a ton of great books and it's so convenient that you have a paperback of Grave Mercy and your friend has a hardcover! :)

Check out my Stacking the Shelves!

  23. Oh, Lily is just so beautiful! And I can't believe you're making a reader out of her already! :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh Lily is uber-cute, and a bit bigger each time I see her. You have such beautiful hair, it being longer is actually easier that it being shorter with a little one. Wonderful books, I'm going to have to check out some of those.

  26. Wow, you got some great books this week! And your daughter is too cute. Thanks for sharing the video with us! As for your hair, my hair was about your length and I did go ahead and cut some of it off. It made it a lot lighter, and easier to pull back. I took about three inches off, which put it below my shoulders. So I say go for it! Less weight for the summer and all. :)

  42. Oh It's always so nice to see Lily-Ann, she is so cute! I haven't read any of your book yet but some sound very interesting! I'm still a little late in the Sherrilyn Kenyon series but I can't wait the Acheron book. Otherwise for your hair, I have to say they're wonderful and if I were you, I think I would just cut a little but not a lot, because it's really nice.

I had to cut my hair because it was falling out heavily, guess it was the hormones. Yours looks really nice and healthy, maybe just shorten it a tiny bit?

And re: the existential question: Cut, Cuz, Cut! :-D Lol, I'm quite brave when it comes to hair since it grows back quite fast, so whenever I feel like a change I have it cut. Right now I have had my hair cut like this: http://www.feelny.net/photo/Katie-Holmes-hair83790.jpg and really enjoy it, especially for the hot summer weather. It's a great way not to get bored with how you look, so I urge you to do it :-)

PS...I'd say cut it...but start with less than you are thinking to make sure you like it...you can always get more cut later but you can't grow it back that quickly!

  47. I am not aware of half of the books you got but I so want to read The Blessed.

That ABC book for Lily-Ann is just too adorable. I used to have them too when I was little and my mom still keeps them. :) It's going to be a while until she can use it though ! :P
I'm so glad you loved Grave Mercy. It's one of my favorite reads of this year !
I bought my copy of Golden Lily this week too and you're right, it was much better than Bloodlines. Bloodlines was also a slight disappointment for me so I'm glad GL was better.

A haircut below your shoulders will look good on you although the long hair suits you as well. :)

Lily Ann is an adorable little thing. <3
    She's growing up really fast ! :)
