Teaser Tuesday - The Cinderella Society





Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:





-Grab your current read
-Open to a random page
-Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
-BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
-Share the title & author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!



I am cheating a little this week, the book I chose isn't the book I am currently reading, but in honor of Once upon a week.. over at Not Nessie's blog I choose to tease you with an excerpt of The Cinderella Society!
"Every time something embarrassing or horrible or stressful happens, stop and ake five slow deep breaths. THen ask yourself the "five" questions: Will this mater in five hours? Will this matter in five weeks? Will this matter in five years? You'd be surprised how things that seem earth-shattering at the time don't even pass the five-week test.     Oh! I like that teaser and that test! I so easily get overwhlemed... this is a good one to put in practice. Sounds like I have another book to add to my TBR list.
