Vampire Academy News!

If you’ve been following the blog for a while you know I’m a huge fan of Richelle Mead, and the Vampire Academy series is one of my favourites! So imagine my excitement when I woke up this morning to this awesome movie news!

First, the title. It was revealed yesterday I think, and It’ll be Vampire Academy – Blood Sisters. This is actually the title of the French books (Soeurs de sang), so I wasn’t shocked but I still don’t see the connection. Either way, it’s nice to see some progress!

BUT, the amazing news is… The 3 main characters, Rose, Lissa & Dimitri, were cast!

Zoey Deutch will play the kick-ass Rose part.  I am pleased enough by this decision. She does look the part, and even though I haven’t seen any of her movies, she’ll be part of the Beautiful Creatures movie so I’ll get to see her in action very soon!

Lissa, the beautiful blond, will be played by Aussie star Lucy Fry. Once again, I don’t know a thing about her acting talents, but at least she looks the part!

And last, but certainly not least, suave and sexy Dimitri will be brought to life by Danila Kozlovskiy!!! Another unknown actor for me but I’m freaking ecstatic by this decision! First, he IS Russian! Second, he is old enough and third he is damn good looking! I was so scared they would pick someone like Ben Barnes because, in my humble opinion, he is NOT Dimitri material!

Here’s a second shot with long hair:

You can read here what Richelle as to say about the movie so far!

Are you as excited as I am??

Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans' voodoo queen just keeps on giving--leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit.

Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive. This year, however, a determined Cat and Bones must risk all to send him back to the other side of eternity--forever. But how do you kill a killer who's already long dead?

Divergent–Character Cast

If you’ve read my review, you know that I’m crazy in love with Veronica Roth’s Divergent. And guess what? The rights for the movie were bought by Summit before the book was even released and Evan Daughtery is currently writing the script.

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Thefablife.com is currently asking for votes on who should play the two main characters, which inspired my to pick my own cast =)

To play Beatrice Prior aka Tris (16) I picked:

Dakota Fanning

I think she would be perfect to portray the petite yet very courageous blond =)

To play the hot and mysterious Four (18-19) I picked:

Shiloh Fernandez

I honestly can’t resist his hotness, lopsided grin & overall bad boy vibe.

Michael Trevino wouldn’t be a bad choice either though.

Now to play Tris’ friends and not-so friends…

to play Christina (16) I would pick:

Tiffany Hines

Get her an hair cut and she’s be great!

Mitch Hewer would be my cast for Will (16).

I’d pick Garrett Hedlund to play Peter (16)

Mostly because even though he is a mean bastard, he looks like an honest and kind guy.

Thomas Dekker would be a great Eric (18-19)

Just imagine him with long greasy hair and a plethora of tattoos and piercings.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find any young actor tall and wide-shouldered enough to fit Al’s (16) physical description, but if you have any suggestions, please let me know!

So what do you guys think?

Another Hunger Games character was cast!

This time it’s Prim, Katniss younger sister!

Willow Shields

Somehow I imagined Prim with bright blond hair and an angel’s face. So Willow doesn’t really fit, but maybe with makeup and everything she’ll be fine.

Hunger Game Cast: District one was revealed!

Well the title says it all, two more actors were chosen for the movie. This time District One!

Marvel & Glimmer
Jack Quaid & Leven Rambin

In all honesty I don’t remember what those two are suppose to look like, so I don’t really have an opinion.
