Happy December everyone! Because I was in a festive mood this week, I put up my Christmas tree on Wednesday and baked a ton of Christmas goodies. I didn't buy many new books in the last weeks, with the holidays coming on. My library will probably be my constant friend for the next few weeks, in order to save a little money. Here's my most recent haul!
Purshased
The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin (25$ on Black Friday!)
Endsinger by Jay Kristoff
Library
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
The Winter People by Rebekah L. Purdy
Don't forget to share the link to your post! Let me know so I can come visit.

Your Christmas tree is gorgeous, Stéphanie! We haven't really started decorating much for Christmas yet here, apart from a red table cloth and our advent candles...
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll enjoy your new books! They look amazing.
Have a fantastic weekend.
I keep meaning to try Jay Kristoff's books -- I'm guessing you've read the others, are they good? Hope you enjoy the new books!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking tree. I got quite a few books this week but am still trying to cut down.
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! Love your tree! I've heard good things about The Coldest Girl in Cold town. I have a copy but haven't read it yet. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLike Nikki, I'm also late to the Lotus War train - but I'm planning to pick up a copy of Stormdancer after Christmas! Beautiful Christmas tree, btw. :)
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas Tree is so pretty. I like that your library had the George Martin books. My mother is into that series hardcore. Great stack.
ReplyDeleteThat tree is so pretty! I've heard good things about The Coldest Girl in Cold Town. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! They match the season. And your tree is a beauty. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteOOOh!! Those are all new to me! But you gotta love those special "world" books! About two weeks ago I bought the Harry Potter one with all the creatures in it!
ReplyDeleteWe've had our tree up for a few weeks now! Yay! My mom decided since Thanksgiving was late again, we'd put it up early, so I think it went up the week before Thanksgiving, because normally we put it up that weekend after Thanksgiving!
Hope you enjoy your new reads!
My STS will be up tomorrow, stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!

Love your tree. I don't think we'll put one up this year -- just enjoy the tree at my son's house. No book purchases this week, but I did receive two in the mail, 1 from NetGalley, and a couple from the library.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree. I love the covers to Kristoff's books. They don't sound like anything I'd be interested in reading but the covers definitely tempt me.

OH MAH GOD!!! ENDSINGER!!!!!!! *head blows up*
ReplyDeleteLove the ASoIaF book. It's much better than the short story he had in Dangerous Women. Of course, now I'm reminded that I have to pull out the Christmas decorations before my wife asks me to do so.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking tree!
ReplyDeleteI really need to dig my tree out of the spare room and put it up. Good haul this week, I know I have one of them waiting to read on my own shelves.
ReplyDeleteMy haul can be found here
Very pretty tree. We just set ours up and are getting ready to decorate it. Nice book haul. Happy reading.
