Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Hey everyone! So I went a little crazy these last few weeks. I got/bought many different books, and a wide variety of genres too.
Also, @kimbacaffeinate and @BookShelfery are hosting a week long Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon and I decided to participate this year. I always get into the holiday spirit every time the red cups from Starbucks appear. It simply feels like it's time. So that's why you'll see so many Christmas/holiday books stacking my shelves.

ReplyDeleteChris Hadfield is awesome! I bought a copy of 'An Astronaut's Guide To Life On Earth' for my boyfriend (he loves Chris Hadfield) and now I really want to get a copy of You Are Here!
Enjoy all your new books!! :)
I do the same thing at Christmas. We have some Christmas books in common. There are so many. You might want to follow this link to my post and click on the Harlequin link. They are running a Holiday follow and have given each blog that participates a big Christmas prize package that includes 6 Christmas books, and other Chrismas theme items. http://mixedbookbag.blogspot.com/2014/11/holiday-giveaway-with-harlequin.html
ReplyDeleteI actually went a little crazy this week. I have a problem staying away from Amazon. LOL. I like the Christmas Books. Good selection of books this week.

Cozy christmas books are great for this time of year. Horns is one I want to read before watching the movie version. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI've got to get my hands on Black Ice for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow! You definitely went crazy at the library. I hope you have plenty of time carved out to read those books before their due date. I notice that most of these are Christmas themes -- getting a head start!
ReplyDeleteGreat stack! I hope you're getting a ton read for the read-a-thon and having a great time while doing it!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the ho-ho-ho read-a-thon too, it's the first time, and a great way to get into the spirit for Christmas. Your Christmassy books look lovely, especially Starry Night and Bring Me Home For Christmas. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI've read Horns and Nine Lives of Christmas and I liked them both! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI loved Twas the Night After Christmas (and that whole series, haha). Hope you enjoy all your new books!
ReplyDeleteI have Horns as well but I haven't gotten to it yet, and I can't wait to read Black Ice. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI had already picked up Black Ice at BEA this year, but when I saw the eBook for $2.99, I couldn't resist. This way I can take it anywhere. And the publisher/author gets some of my money. Great haul! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOooo... I really enjoyed Black Ice and I've been contemplating reading Horns since it's everywhere right now! Enjoy your books! ~ Bel
ReplyDeleteYou got some fun books this week! I've been hearing really good things about Black Ice. I'm excited to read it too!
