Stacking The Shelves [16]

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Guidelines:
  • Create your own Stacking The Shelves post. You can use my official graphic or your own, but please link back to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
  • You can set your post any way you want, simple book list, covers, pictures, vlog, sky is the limit!
  • I am posting Stacking The Shelves on Saturdays, but feel free to post yours any day that fits you.
  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on Saturday and add your link so others can visit you
  • Visit other participants link to find out what they added to their shelves!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Hey, everyone! I have a huge announcement this week along with my vlog! My cat also joined me because I couldn't get her to go away, even though she disappeared about half way through. I also discovered that I have to film in scenes so that the audio doesn't get messed up, so I hope that doesn't make any awkward pauses, even though I said "alright" and "um" enough to last a lifetime. Anyway, check it out!

What did YOU add to your shelves?

I'm a 18 year old from a small town in New Jersey that's a newcomer to the book blogging world. Because I am an incoming senior in high school the closest thing that I have to a job is being a volunteer at the town library, so I spend most of my time reading and persuading my parents to let me buy more books!

  4. Congratulations on the job!!! I got White Cat this week too. I loved On The Island. I sort of think of it as crossover between YA and Adult. I have The Waiting Sky, after hearing what you have to say about it I will have to move it up on my reading list.

    1. I haven't really seen any other reviews for it, so I was a bit slow about deciding to read it. If it's a cross between Ya and adult, I may give it a better chance though.

Haha and you'll enjoy The Waiting Sky!

  9. Congratulations Lili!!! :D That's really amazing to hear that you've got an amazing job that lets you be around books! :D haha you totally remind me of Tynga with her two kitty cats (shout out to Nikita who isn't afraid of me :P) LOL. The kitty cat behind you looks like she/he believes that their just meant to be in the spotlight, lying down, all relaxed, I can totally imagine it saying "I'm ready for you to take my picture" LOL! okay I'm done lol..

Great STS vlog, I like how you describe what the books are about in addition to showcasing the books that you received. Can't wait to hear what you think!
