Find a name for my new kitten =)

Hey everyone!

I got a new babygirl today and I need to find a name for her, I would love if you could give me some suggestions ^^

I wanted to post better pics, but she's hiding under the couch right now =P I'll try to add some more later!

Name restrictions:

- She's a girl !

- I would prefer a name that IS NOT finishing with an "a" because my other cat's name is Nikita.

Can't wait to see your ideas!

Thank you!

I love naming animals. It took me 3 months to name Elliott, Elliott. He was Porkchop (like from the cartoon Doug, b/c he was so fat), Owen, Cooper, then finally Elliott. lol

    Good luck!

Nikita is also called Princesse chat (which means princess kitty).
My mom's cat repsond to Peanut, Baleine (which means whale because he is big =P), Garcon (which means boy).

I tought of Lilith for my new babygirl, but I feel bad calling her after a demons name =P
    I also like Foxy.

  4. Too cute! She reminds me of my old cat, Izzy. I'm terrible at coming up with pet names, though.

Aw, she is such an adorable little furbaby!! Love those pretty eyes - that's the first thing I noticed from the picture. Are they really green, or was that just the camera?

If her eyes are green, you could go with that maybe? Like naming her JADE, Emerald, or Peridot (peri for short lol), or something along those lines :)

Anyway, she's precious and glad she's found a wonderful home with you!

Lol, I am not good with names. If it was me, I would have given my pet a non-existent name haha.

  9. Awe she is soo cute, since you have a princess cat, maybe stick with the french and call her Belle

  10. Mary Ann- It would have been a great idea, but it's just the picture =( Her eyes are yellowish.

April - Haha these are mostly french name i like it =)
I thought of calling her Faythe ebcause I like the shifters series so much, but it's not really a good cat name.

ParaJunkee - I'm french this is why all "pet names" I give to my cat are french also =)

  11. I recently got a new little kitten, and I named her Riley, after Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen series. I haven't started it yet, but I was using my massive collection of books for ideas.

I've also got Hobbes, Baxter, and Rupert at my mom's and Dharma, Annie, and Willie at my dad's.

Although the colors aren't exactly the same, your new little kitty reminds me of Aubrey from Richelle Mead's Georgina Kincaid series.

  16. Good luck! It's hard to give a pet a good name - it took us three tries to get the names for our cats.

  17. Wish I could help, but most of my girls have somehow wound up with boy's names! We were going to call one of our cats Biscuit, but she just didn't seem like a Biscuit for some reason...*L*

I like Cindy's suggestion of Angie.

    Good luck!

  19. Animal names are hard...my niece (who was a little over 1.5 years old at the time) helped me name my little dog (Pebbles).

    Names I like:
    Muffy
    Clea
    Chloe
    Misty
    Winter
    Angel
    Sophie
    Isabelle (Izzy for short)

    Those are my suggestions. :-)

  20. Actually Brit i've been thinking about calling her Misty, but I don't know it sounds off a little,
I think I'm gonna call her Mystic ^^

  21. Mystic is an awesome idea- I hope that was the name you ended up with!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh, love Mystic! Sort of mysterious, but still cute. Is that the name you decided on, or still considering your options?

  23. Alexia - The name is currently on trial lol

  24. She's beautiful! Silver Ivory & Gold so Sharonluvscats' name of Jewel would be perfect. I also think she looks like a Rheanne.

  25. I like classic names like Guinevere, Penelope, or Marjorie. Then you can nickname her Gwen, Penny, or Marjie.
