First of all, happy whichever holidays you celebrate this time of year and best wishes for the coming NEW YEAR!
Second, while
there is a stack over at Reading Reality today, it's a bit on the short and stumpy side. Not much gets uploaded to Netgalley and Edelweiss the week before Xmas, and likely not the week between Xmas and New Year's either.
But there are always a few gems! Look and see!

It's difficult to believe that Xmas is this week, New Year's is next week, and that 2020 is ALMOST OVER. I think I'm pretty safe in saying that this is a year that no one will want to experience again!

There are some very pretty books, although not all that many, in
my full stack over at Reading Reality.
Here are some of the prettiest covers to whet your reading appetite for the week!

Fall is pretty much fell here in Atlanta. It's cold, rainy and nasty as I write this. Which probably makes this an excellent week to curl up with a cup of tea, a cat or two, and a good book or three. Then again, I think ALL weekends are good for that!

The U.S. is now in the post-turkey coma stage of Thanksgiving. We even gave the cats a little bit of the turkey on a plate. Hopefully they won't think they'll be getting that kind of treat all the time. Just once a year.

This week's
full stack over at Reading Reality has embiggened a bit compared to the last couple of weeks. That means plenty of books to read over the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Not that THAT was much of a problem in the first place!
One book I'm really, really, happy to have picked up - although it's tempting me to read it right this minute and I just can't yet. Take a look and see!

As
my post over at Reading Reality clearly demonstrates, I'm in the throes of a "so many books, so little concentration" crisis. Also so little time, but the lack of focus is presently the bigger problem. I'm looking forward to less chaos in the world. Someday. Maybe someday starting 1/20/21. We'll see.
In the meantime, I have yet more books I can't wait to read. I just have to pick one and START!

It's that time of year, the leaves are either falling or have fallen, depending on where you live, and the weekly Stacking the Shelves lists are getting shorter as the publishers wind down for the holidays and the inevitable end-of-the-year Best Books Lists.

First, Happy Halloween!
Second, if you are in the U.S. or Canada or anywhere else where Daylight Saving Time ends tonight, don't forget to turn your clocks back. Not that any of us actually want another hour of 2020!
Speaking of not wanting another hour of this year, not to mention being reminded of wonderful trips in years past and while having everything cancelled this year (as it should be, COVID is real and dangerous and I don't want it!). I picked up quite a few books this week to facilitate some armchair travel. The full list is over at Reading Reality, but here's a sample of places that we can still go, at least in our heads!

I picked up a surprising number of books this week. I even got a few from the library, which is a lot rarer these days as I no longer work in one. But check out the
full stack over at Reading Reality because it's quite a bunch!
