Welcome to the final Stacking the Shelves post of not just 2019 but of the entire decade of the 2010s!
I have a
completely weird stack over at Reading Reality as this is one of the rare occasions where I bought way more than I received for review. It's that kind of week.
If romance is your jam you might want to check out the terrible messy shitstorm going on with the RWA. We're seeing an organization shoot itself in the foot, implode and explode in real time. It's a complete trainwreck and it's EPIC. Also epically horrible. If you want to catch up here's a link to yet another summary of the action,
this time at Teach Me Tonight.
And now, back to the regular teasing of the books!

Welcome to the pre-Holiday edition of Stacking the Shelves. I look outside here in Atlanta and completely lose track of the fact that it is the holiday season, but it definitely is.
So Happy Holidays for whatever holidays you celebrate this time of year. In honor of Hanukkah and Xmas coinciding this year I think we're having latkes with our traditional turkey boob instead of mashed potatoes. (There's only two of us - and the cats who we try not to encourage to beg for table scraps - so a turkey breast is more than enough for the two of us and leaves plenty of leftovers for Boxing Day sandwiches!)
Just in case you're looking for something to read over the holidays, here are a few teasers from
my stack over at Reading Reality:

It rained and snowed books again over at Reading Reality. You'll just have to check out
this week's rather tall stack to see all the goodies!
Meanwhile, here are a few of the prettier or more interesting covers to whet your reading appetite.

This week's stack over at Reading Reality is a LOT bigger than the Thanksgiving stack. Of course it had a lot more time to pile up - and I had a few different inspirations for adding to it. I'm going to share a few of my favorite covers from the stack - as always - but there is PLENTY to love this time around.

I'm doing this way ahead because of the US Thanksgiving holiday. As a consequence,
the stack over at Reading Reality is one of those weird ones where half the covers don't exist yet.
I do have a couple of covers to share with you - they're both historical fiction and they look terrific!

Happy and safe shopping!

This week's stack at Reading Reality isn't very tall - and next week's probably won't be either. This is Thanksgiving week in the U.S. - so not a lot is getting done except holiday prep by a whole lot of people!
But I still have a couple of things to whet your (reading) appetite!

I got some really terrific books this week, so I have plenty to tease you with.
My full stack is, of course, over at Reading Reality. But here are the highlights: one book I've been really, really waiting for, one extremely pretty cover, one book of sheer self indulgence, and one extra, just because.
I'll leave it to you to guess which witch is which.

After a brief drought, the eARC floodgates opened at both NetGalley and Edelweiss, so my tsundoku is happy again.
Not that all the books I picked up don't look great (see
this week's full stack at Reading Reality to check them out!) but there were a few that I have been looking forward to for months, or in one case, a couple of years. Check these out!

It's really starting to feel like the year is winding down fast. The books on NetGalley and Edelweiss are mostly next year's books now. And not very many, either.
They may think that no one will be interested in reading over the holidays, but they are so wrong. So VERY wrong.
Here are just a few teasers from
this week's stack over at Reading Reality to prove it!

Even though it's barely Fall, at least around here, the publishing world has hit the winter doldrums.
This week's stack over at Reading Reality is very short, even with a few last-minute additions. (I first typed "addictions" and that isn't far wrong.) Biblioholic with a severe case of tsundoku, that's me.
But a short stack doesn't stop me from queuing up a few teasers for you!
